Half the fee confirms nearly every booking arranged before a trip, settled before she sets out and calculated on the figure in her own profile.
A deposit here is not a security taken and handed back. It is the first half of the fee itself, worked out from the figure in the profile of the therapist the two of you chose, named in writing in the thread once the hour is agreed, and settled before she leaves. Whatever is left of the figure is settled on the doorstep when she arrives.
The seven bookings it applies to
Half goes ahead on a booking made more than twenty-four hours before its start, which is every arrangement made before a trip; on an eight hour block at any start time; on any booking with two therapists, whatever the length; on a room at a Schiphol airport hotel; on a peak date; on a session of three hours or more; and on a first booking with the house. One arrangement carries nothing in advance: a returning client asking for an hour or two the same day at a city address, who settles the whole figure on arrival.
How it is paid
Card first, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for anyone who would rather use them. A bank transfer will not do for this, and nor will PayPal. Cash cannot serve as a deposit, because a deposit is settled before she leaves and cash only changes hands in the room. The amount and the destination appear inside the confirmed thread and nowhere on this site.
Two countries, one half
Whose card pays it is your business and is never asked about. On a long-distance booking it is usually the partner holding the thread, since that is the person reading the message when it arrives. What the confirmation records is the figure, not a name. The full scale sits on the deposit page.
